Pig welfare at Harper Adams | Brassica & Leafy Salads Conference | Dairy Tech | NFU Conference

Members of our Fresh Produce technical team attended the Brassica Leafy Salads Conference this January.

Simon Thorpe, Senior Technical Manager joined a panel discussion with LEAF to discuss the future of farm assurance.

Red Tractor will be exhibiting and attending the NFU conference in London 25th February.

This is excellent opportunity to connect with members and have meaningful conversations. We want to ensure members feel fully supported and heard so if you are attending the conference, please drop by the stand.

Our Dairy Technical Manager Jemma Holden and Compliance Executive Lucy Eardley will be at Dairy Tech at Stoneleigh Park on 5th February.

Shaping the future of pig welfare: Insights from Harper Adams University

Earlier this month, members of our Technical Team had the opportunity to attend an insightful event hosted by Holly Vickers at Harper Adams University.

The event, titled "The Future of the UK Pig Industry: Exploring Farmer Perspectives of 'A Good Life' and Strategies to Fulfil It on Farm," provided a valuable platform for discussion and collaboration.

It was an excellent opportunity for our team to engage with industry experts, researchers, and farmers, gaining a deeper insight into current challenges in the UK pig sector.

Being part of these conversations is incredibly important to us, as it allows us to listen and contribute to meaningful discussions which will help us ensure that our standards always evolve in line with industry needs.
